The Adventures of Torii and Steve

If it's on the internet, it must be true

Everyone remembers the iconic image of Torii Hunter diving over the bullpen wall trying in vain to catch David Ortiz's game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning of Game 2 of the 2013 ALCS, while bullpen cop Steve Horgan raised his arms in triumph.

But did you know that this wasn't the first time these two took in a game together?

For instance, recently discovered footage shows that one September afternoon in 1960 they watched Ted Williams homer in what would be his final at-bat:

And then there was the 1975 World Series when Carlton Fisk waved his game-winning home run fair:

In 2004, the pair traveled to New York to watch Game 6 of the ALCS, when A-Rod slapped the ball out of Bronson Arroyo's hand:

And in 2007, they were back in Boston for Manny Ramirez's walk-off home run in Game 2 of the Division Series:

But Torii and Steve aren't just fans of baseball. Look closely at this photo of John Havlicek stealing the ball in the deciding game of the 1965 Eastern Conference Finals, and you'll see them rooting the Celtics on to victory:

They also enjoy hockey, like the 1970 Stanley Cup game where Bobby Orr scored the series-winning goal for the Bruins in overtime:

And let's not forget their trip to New Orleans for Super Bowl XXXVI, where Adam Vinatieri's field goal with 7 seconds left won the Patriots their first championship:

I can't wait to see what iconic moment in Boston sports Torii and Steve will witness next!
